a screen time app for iPhone
A promise.
One stamp a day.
You decide what your time is worth.
Atone gives your worst apps a daily limit and blocks them when it runs out. Hold the line and the day earns its stamp. How hard that limit holds is yours to choose.
the bill
Scrolling was never free.
Your life, in eighty squares, one for each year. At three hours a day, the feed takes six of them. They don't come back.
how it works
Three clauses. No small print.
-
01
The limit.
You choose the apps that take your day and the minutes they get. When the minutes are spent, those apps stop opening.
-
02
The way past.
You pick it when you sign: no way past the limit at all, a hundred seconds and a written reason, or just the reason with a stake you name yourself. Using Atone is never what costs you.
-
03
The half.
We give half of what Atone earns to charity. Not half of your stake — half of everything the company takes in, whether you ever pay a cent. We publish what we actually give. See what we fund.
on your phone
Three screens. That is the whole app.
Every held day gets its stamp. A broken day stays empty, the gap says enough.
in plain terms
You decide whether this ever costs you a cent.
Atone is free for as long as you keep your word. No streak spam, no guilt marketing. One stamp a day is loud enough.
Your promise, your stamps and your history stay on your iPhone. No account, no tracking. Apple's Screen Time framework keeps what you chose on your phone — we never learn which apps those are. Only if you put money on your promise does a payment provider come into it, and even then it sees a charge, not your day.
It is in the App Store.
Free to download. It only ever costs you if you set a stake and go past your own limit.
